Happy Wednesday! Today I have a card that I made using two stamps from last year’s Fortune Collection from Magnolia. Since next week is Saint Patrick’s Day, it is a great time to ink them up! Both these stamps are available over at The Stamp Shoppe –>here<– and so there is still time to play with them!

Tilda was colored and then cut out and mounted onto the background with some foam dimensionals. The horseshoe was stamped out and I colored in just the horseshoe. I then airbrushed the whole background with B000, making sure to add more color to the edges and not very much to the center. I went over the shamrocks with a very light green – G20 that blended in with the blue. Then I colored the shamrocks and added stickles to the centers and outlined the stems with a sakura gel pen.

Hi everyone! Ready for the weekend? I wanted to post real quick and update everyone on what’s happening with the store. First of all, I have started to receive some new stock. I received some new flowers, and they are just gorgeous! I did want to point out that two sets of the gardenias I received seem to be “off” in their colour. The Light Yellow looks more of a yellow/lime green and the Old Blue is more of a cream colour with blue tinge to the petals. I will get some actual pictures and post them in the store this weekend. Here is a list of what’s new or restocked in the store:
- Raising the Ceiling “Wilma with Rose”
- Raising the Ceiling “Edwin with Rose”
- Raising the Ceiling “Chocolate Box”
- Vintage Light Blue Rose (small)
- Vintage Pink Rose (small)
- Vintage Yellow Rose (small)
- Vintage Cream & Blue Rose (small)
- Vintage Gardenias – Old Blue 2″
- Vintage Gardenias – Pink & White 2″
- Vintage Gardenias – Light Yellow 2″
- Hoppy Easter paper samplers
The Hoppy Easter paper has arrived and I have split them into two separate sample packs, you can find them listed with the Hoppy Easter collection or under the paper section.
I am hoping that the easter collection will be here soon as well, I’ll keep you posted.
I have also posted the Magnolia Ink 2010 subscription. If you are looking to automatically get the rest of the magazines for 2010 then you can order now! The magazines you will receive (as they are released) are:
- Summer
- Vacation
- Fall
- Winter/Christmas
So no more waiting to see if they are in stock, once they arrive they will automatically be shipped to your door!
Have a great weekend!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! I received my Magnolia~Ink magazine last week and was so inspired by all the wonderful cards and the gorgeous water-coloring that I pulled out my distress inks and twinkling H20s. I colored up a few of the new images but I also pulled this one out because she is one of my favorites and this week we wanted to show case an older stamp over at the Stamp Shoppe. It was a fun change from coloring with copics and IRL this card just shimmers because of all the H20s!

This is such a beautiful Tilda stamp and so much fun to color. I sponged all the layers with Vintage photo distress ink and added just one gorgeous prima flower. I love how delicate it looks.
- Stamps: Magnolia Tilda with Bike, Sentiment SU Well Scripted
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Paper: SU Kraft, Very Vanilla, DP Dream Street Papers
- Coloring: Distress Inks, Twinkling H20s
- Embellies: Prima flower, silk ribbon, Martha Stewart pearls
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Well, I am getting to this late! It seems like everyone is busy these days, and I’m no exception. I’ll start this post off with the winner of our February challenge. I opted to have my husband choose the winner, I figured he is the best unbiased opinion in this house LOL… and he doesn’t mind
So without further ado, our winner is:
IRMA
Thanks so much for playing along with our February challenge, we look forward to working with you!

Hello to you, Melyssa here with my last post for The Little Stamp Shoppe. So how about a bright spring card using Tilda as Butterfly?? Did you know this is my 24th card in 3 months using Tilda? It’s easy to do when the images are so adorable!

You can find this Tilda in the Chasing Butterfly’s 2009 collection here http://stampshoppe.ca/index.php?route=product/category&path=36_44
The challenge is to make a traditional Magnolia style card. For me that meant a large square card with lots of layers and flowers.
What do you think of when I say “a traditional Magnolia card”?

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by today. I have a fun card to show you featuring an easy fold that adds a little extra pop to your card!
I have used the very sweet Chef Tilda and Love Muffin. The patterned paper is Magnolia as well from the Yummy Tummy Sampler. The beautiful frame on the front is Provincial Applique by Melissa Frances. My two sentiments are from SU! but I wish I had –>this<—sentiment instead. It is a little more elegant.

Let’s get started!

Hope that this little tutorial will inspire you to give this neat fold a try and if you do please leave us a link so we can see your creation!
Have a great day!

Quick update everyone! I ordered some Hoppy Easter 2010 stamps and the new matching paper line, you can see it all on the store site! There are also some new flowers and so I ordered a few to sample. I am hoping that they don’t take too long to get orders shipped, so potentially the stamps could be here within a few weeks. I will keep you updated.
