Hi there!
Today I have a card featuring one of the sweetest Magnolia stamps in my collection. I can’t believe it took me so long to be able to ink her up!
I used the sketch from this week’s Double Dutch challenge (slightly modified) and it also fits the challenge for Just Magnolia which is “let’s get sentimental” ~ to add words to your card.
- Stamps: Magnolia Wedding collection Tilda with Peony available ~here~ at The Stamp Shoppe, Sentiment by Verve
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Paper: Bazzil, SU Black, DP from MME La Paperie pack
- Coloring: Copic Markers
- Embellies: Kaiser Pearls, SU Satin Ribbon
Heidi is having a sale at the moment at the Stamp Shoppe. With a deal like this, now is the time to get those little Magnolias that have been on your wish-list!
Moving Sale! August 23 – September 6
Check out the sale prices on the majority of our inventory. Many of the stamps are listed at my cost or just above. And you don’t pay any taxes!!! How awesome is that? And the order gets delivered to you, no running around to the stores. Orders will begin shipping September 1st.
Happy Thursday! Hope your week is going well….the weekend is not far away now! For my card today, I took a break from my Copic Markers and used my Distress Inkpads. I have to start using them more because it took me awhile to get this one colored up!
The Just Magnolia Challenge this week is to use acetate on your card so I thought I would give it a try. I am also going to submit it to the Creative Crew challenge which is Cute & Girly.
I stamped the center of the acetate with the Medallion Stamp by SU! using Stazon White ink. I was happy that it dried well and did not smear. Directly behind this, I adhered a paper doily that I stamped with a sentiment.
For some reason, the pink on my colored image and the pink on my DP look very different but IRL they are a much better match! Really!

Hi there! Thanks for swinging by today! We have been having severe thunderstorms these past few days and it has been dark and muggy outside. I took the kids to see a movie yesterday…Despicable Me. It was a nice film and the we all enjoyed it. With such terrible weather, it was hard to take very good pictures. I ended up taking this one using a day-lamp!
I hadn’t had the opportunity to ink up this little cutie yet and she seemed perfect to go with the lovely sketch over at Just Magnolia this week!

Happy Thursday! The Summer is just flying by, isn’t it? Here is a card featuring Tilda as a pirate. I made it a few weeks ago and thought I would share it with you today!
I stamped the barrel and skull twice to give Pirate Tilda a nice place to sit. It looked a little off with just the one barrel.
The paper is a mix of some old SU! paper that I had in my scrap drawer and the Magnolia Halloween So Spooky paper. The flower is also Magnolia.
Heidi also has a special combo that includes these two stamps along with Pirate Edwin for a very nice price!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
Hugs Jeanette
